GAMAY - CABERNET - CÔT
This is a typical Amboise or Touraine wine; light-bodied and fresh, with a ruby-red robe, revealing red fruit aromas. Perfect with traditional Touraine dishes.
Three types of grapes are necessary to elaborate this cuvée; Gamay (50%), Cabernet (25%) and Le Côt also know as Malbec (25%). Assembling those three grape varieties produces a balanced yet complex wine, not too light or tannic, each grape variety bringing its own distinctive aroma.
THE ADVICE OF PLOU&FILS :
Best enjoyed young to fully appreciate its fruitiness, freshness and crispness. You can also let it age for 6 to 8 years if you want it mature and spicier. Perfect with Touraine specialties, charcuterie, poultry and goat cheese.
